Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this training program for?

This training program is for aspiring leaders growing their companies or setting up corporate ventures. They are designed based on my belief that building the right team is the key to business success. I have seen many ideas fail, not because they weren't good, but because they lacked a great team to get things done. That said, the trainings are also helpful for new team leads stepping into an existing team to fix a mismatch between the business challenge and what the current team can handle.

What is my time investment?

It depends on the training you follow. Go to the specific training page to see an estimate of the time you will need to complete the training:

Team Culture | Build a Strong Team Culture

Team Performance | Unlock Your Team's Best Performance.

How theoretical or practical is this course?

I would say 20% theory and 80% practical exercises.

There are many brilliant books and masterclasses out there on leadership. I love reading theory, but I see many people around me suffer through it. They either find it overwhelming, get stuck applying it, or go into endless overthinking loops.

These trainings are designed to help you quickly transition from theory into practice. Why? Because for most new team leads, the easiest way to digest the theory is through examples, analyzing case studies, and talking about the best practices.

Will I have access to the training material after I finish?

Yes, I will share all the workbook exercises and case studies we cover during the training in a downloadable pdf format.

What does ongoing support mean?

During the training weeks, you can reach me through email, phone, or Slack to ask any questions about the content outside of the agreed training days.

About Ángel Figueroa

Tactical games fascinate me. Whether sports or board games, I love to read the game and break through the perceived complexity.

Business contains all the elements I like in games, especially the challenge of designing a winning team. You can take brilliant individuals and bring them together. But without a visionary leader who leaves nothing to chance, you won't have a winning team. It all starts with getting the basics in place: having a vision, setting your goals, and finding the right tactics to succeed.

I have seen too many innovation projects fail due to a lack of a good team design. Many know the theory but tend to get overwhelmed in the execution. What if you assume that business is simple by nature and that your challenge is to keep it that way. That said, ready to work on the basics?
